Welcome to the S.A.L.T. Social Anxiety Lab & Therapy (S.A.L.T.) is the research group in the Department of Psychology at Chungbuk National University. Our current research topics are transdiagnostic interventions, social anxiety disorder (SAD), parent management training, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for SAD. We are interested in understanding the psychopathology of social anxiety, increasing the efficacy of CBT for SAD, and revealing the mechanisms of the therapy.
Please note that I am currently on sabbatical leave and am not accepting new graduate students, including prospective GKS applicants, during this period.

Hello, I'm Subeen. I came to study psychology to understand the effects of anxiety on children and college students. I'm also interested in transdiagnostic interventions, and based on them, I'm interested in diagnosing anxiety and depression and developing treatments. I want to help people who are anxious and depressed to be easily accessible and treatable.
Sumin Im
Hi, I'm Sumin. I'm interested in social anxiety disorder and its treatment. I want to research the most effective interventions for SAD and the factors that alleviate its symptoms. I’m looking forward to diving into these areas to help improve the lives of people with mental disease.
Yujin Lee
Hello, I’m Yujin. I came to study psychology because I wanted to help people take small steps forward when they feel stuck in difficult moments. My current interests include anxiety, particularly social anxiety, and depression with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy and transdiagnostic approaches to treatment. In the future, I hope to research and develop more effective treatments and intervention programs for anxiety and depressive disorders.
Eunkyung Lee
I came to psychology to better understand and alleviate the suffering of individuals with mental health conditions. My primary research interests lie in Social Anxiety Disorder, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and transdiagnostic treatment approaches, with the ultimate goal of helping people with anxiety improve their quality of life.
Eunhyeok Seo
Hello, I'm eunhyeok. I am interested in helping individuals with social anxiety and other disorders achieve psychological well-being and growth. I aim to study their underlying mechanisms and therapeutic interventions through rigorous empirical research. I hope to become a researcher who practices evidence-based practice (EBP) in clinical settings.
