Social Anxiety Lab & Therapy (S.A.L.T.) is the research group in the Department of Psychology at Chungbuk National University. Our current research topics are transdiagnostic interventions, social anxiety disorder (SAD), parent management training, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for SAD. We are interested in understanding the psychopathology of social anxiety, increasing the efficacy of CBT for SAD, and revealing the mechanisms of the therapy.

Hi, I'm Sun-Jung. I'm interested in anxiety with a high co-morbidity with other mental illnesses and impact on family dynamics of multigenerational transmission anxiety. I am thinking about how to explain that they are interacting closely in a state of anxiety and how they should treat each other.

Hello, I'm Subeen. I came to study psychology to understand the effects of anxiety on children and college students. I'm also interested in transdiagnostic interventions, and based on them, I'm interested in diagnosing anxiety and depression and developing treatments. I want to help people who are anxious and depressed to be easily accessible and treatable.

Hi, I'm Sumin. I'm interested in social anxiety disorder and its treatment. I want to research the most effective interventions for SAD and the factors that alleviate its symptoms. I’m looking forward to diving into these areas to help improve the lives of people with mental disease.
